Monostable trigger

An easy way to trigger the monostable switch on LedLabs, is to connect a wire from either of the ldr’s directly to the monostables input trigger, from the dark switch, if a torch is shone on the ldr, this will trigger the monostable, as when light falls on this the voltage falls and rises only when dark, and similarly for the light switch, if it is covered over then the voltage falls, and rises when gets lighter   The variable resistors may need calibrating, and to do this connect a wire from the ldr’s output in to the lm3914, to get the correct levels and a good range. The voltages for both ldr’s ambient output should be set midway in order to get the swing when the tests are performed.
